Training of engineers for working in the field of machine design and material processing by pressure (forging, stamping, rolling etc.) This is a sought-after specialty in modern industrial production, which is based on the use of forging and stamping products, foundry and welding production.

Students study graphic design of machine parts, design of casting and forging production technologies, probabilistic models in industrial engineering, additive manufacturing technologies, forging, hot and cold stamping, welding production, composite materials processing technology and the basics of project management.

Students master computer-aided product design and process modeling programs, practical skills in computer-aided design of forging and stamping production technologies, calculation of die tooling and tools, as well as methods of mathematical analysis and modeling in the field of material pressure processing and development of automatic control systems.

Graduates hold the positions of 3D modeling engineers, materials scientists, designers, technologists for the design, analysis and calculation of methods for processing materials by pressure. They work in various industries in forging and pressing, procurement, foundry, welding and assembly and other workshops, technological and design departments of machine-building, metallurgical, transport and automotive enterprises.
